Android Employed is an anthology comedy sci-fi web series that imagines a near future where robots join the workforce. The show is created by Jem Garrard and produced by Artaban Productions for Telus Optik TV.

Series Details

Android Employed began life as Unit Bryan, a short film created by British Canadian writer, director, and producer Jem Garrard. The concept was adapted into two seasons for Telus Optik TV. Season one was designed as a mockumentary, and after a successful release, the team decided to test a new format and style for season two, shooting it as a live action comedy. Jem is currently adapting the series into a half hour comedy.

Android Employed stars Ryan Beil (iZombie), Rukiya Bernard (Van Helsing), Jennifer Spence (You Me Her), Sarah Canning (The Vampire Diaries), Andrea Bang (Kim’s Convenience), Sonja Bennett (Supernatural), Diana Bang (The Interview), Amy Goodmurphy (The Flash), Andrew Creightney (Batwoman), Paula Shaw (Freddy vs. Jason), Agam Darshi (Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency), Scott Patey (Supernatural), Kalyn Miles (Are You Afraid of the Dark?), Dave Collette (The Chronicle Mysteries), Peter Benson (Mech X4), Veena Sood (Downsizing), Victor Dolhai (ReBoot), and Trevor Devall (Avengers Assemble) as the voice of the robot.
